We were pleased to have someone welcome us...we had told them we would be arriving Sunday (not Sat.) and manager was very helpful.
We had ordered the 'welcome basket' since stores would not be open on Sunday, and it was very generous...lots of food.

We had apartment with 3 bedrooms....very nice and interesting furnishings. Wonderful view.
However, one room had adjoining panel that let sound from another apartment into the room. That couple heard a lot of talking during the nights. We mentioned it to manager and they weren't surprised ! The panel should be insulated for sound.
We had hoped to have winery tour, but it was harvest time and everyone was too busy.(same at other farms in region).
Dinner in dining room was great.
We had also hoped to have cooking lesson, but it was VERY expensive.

It is a beautiful place...very rustic and charming rooms.
There was information in apt. about nearby towns, etc and we loved Volterra !! Better than SanGim or Sienna....a good recommendation.

Very relaxing atmosphere and wonderful experience to get a feel for the country and people.
It is a bargain....great price for such a lovely place.

Rooms would be better if clothes washing and ironing facilities provided in the room rather than very expensive laundry service.

Fattorie Santo Pietro provides very comfortable accommodation in a beautiful setting and is very well located to sample all the delights of Tuscany.

We have stayed at FAttorie Santo Pietro before, it's a lovely place in a beautiful setting. Only small problem are the pot holes in the road going into the property.
