Coming from the North:
· Take the A1 motorway (Milan-Florence)
· Get off at the Firenze-Certosa exit
· Take the four lanes road to Siena
· Get off at Poggibonsi Nord (first exit of Poggibonsi)
· Follow signs to San Gimignano for about 12 km
· Drive past the two main city gates of San Gimignano and continue in the direction of Certaldo for about 1 km
· Take the left signposted to Gambassi-Pancole
· After about 1 km turn right towards Pancole
· Drive through Pancole (pass the little tunnel under the church, drive past the "Leonetto" restaurant and once you have passed this, after 500 mt turn left on the dirt road.
· 1 km. down the road, you will find the main reception office. Apartments and Assistance Office are another 500 mt. further down.
Coming from the South:
· Take the A1 motorway direction Florence
· Get off at the Valdichiana exit
· Follow directions to Siena, and then at the Siena Ovest exit get the four lanes road to Florence
· Get off at Poggibonsi Nord (second exit of Poggibonsi)
· Follow directions to San Gimignano for about 12 km
· Follow remaining directions as above
Coming from Genova/La Spezia:
· Exit Pisa airport and take 4 lanes road SGC "FI-PI-LI" direction FIRENZE.
· Exit at PONTE A ELSA and take road n° 429 direction SIENA.
· Exit at CERTALDO. Follow direction SAN GIMIGNANO.
· Cross railway tracks, straight on through traffic light, straight on through the round about, cross small bridge and turn right, following sign to SAN GIMIGNANO. At petrol station "ERG" and hotel/restaurant LATINI take the uphill road to PANCOLE on the right.
· Drive for about 6 km until you see sign to LA PIAZZETTA/SANTO PIETRO.
· Take the non paved road on the right and drive downhill for exactly 1 km (1.000 mt) until you see a big white square sign SANTO PIETRO and then the first building with a wooden sign "Reception". This is the main Reception Office. Apartments and Assistance Office are 500 mt further down
Watch out: we are FATTORIE DI SANTO PIETRO, NOT "Chiesetta di San Pietro" which is another resort. |
