By Car:
The Castello di San Polo has a very good infrastructure. The mediaeval castle in the Chianti can be easily reached via the Superstrada Florence-Siena as well as via the A1 Milan-Rome.
From the North: from the A1 take exit Firenze Certosa, and take the Superstrada direction Siena, exit at San Donato and follow for Castellina, Radda in Chianti, then you will see the indications for the Castle.
From the South: frome the A12 take exit Valdichiana, and take the Superstrada direction Siena, exit at Castelnuovo Berardenga, then follow for Gaiole in Chianti. There you will see the indications for the Castle.
By Plane:
Pisa, Florence or Rome Airport: anyone travelling by plane won't have far to go from the Tuscan airports Pisa and Florence to the Castle. Alternatively, you can fly to Rome, which is about a three hour drive from the Castello di San Polo.
