Excellent location to San Gimignano.
View was text book typical of Tuscany.

I enjoyed my stay very much; the hotel was lovely as was the view from my room. Staff was helpful in recommending restaurants; I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone traveling to Tuscany.

Delightful hotel situated a short walk from
San Gimignano. We enjoyed the walk to town
where there are a variety of restaurants (Il
Pino is highly recommended!).
Hotel was quiet and well kept. Staff were
very friendly (Grazie Paola and Roberta) and
very helpful. Breakfast was a lovely occasion
to sit out under the grape vine covered patio
... I'm not a coffee drinker but couldn't
resist the coffee there!
Great place to stay. It served as our base as
we drove about the Tuscany area to explore
other towns and the countryside.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at San Michele. The team were helpful with travel arrangements and our room was made up fresh each day.

We enjoyed our stay at San Michele.Our room had a wonderful view overlooking the vineyards and sparkling pool.We had a view of the old city in the distance. Bus stop close by was useful. The room was comfortable and kept clean. The breakfasts provided good sustanance. The staff were friendly, attentive yet not intrusive.

Unfortunatelly some other hotel guests were very loud during the nights wich made the stay not so relaxing...

Excellent location for walking into the town for an evening stroll/meal. Lovely views. The pool is beautiful but very cold. Excellent position for visiting the rest of Tuscany

Hotel and staff excellent, only issue I had was the bed, the foam mattress was old and very uncomfortable, big depressions in it. Otherwise, very clean, excellent facilities, great location and lovely staff.
Would stay again.

The hotel was in a great location with good clean facilities. The pool was clean with a great setting. Breakfast was delicious and bar prices were good. Hotel was quiet, setting allowed you to meet other travellers and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would stay again.

I found that due to the size of the hotel the service was very personelized and the owners were very helpful to us.This was due to a bad experience with the airline that mislaid our baggage going out for almost 3 days and they even mislaid one on the return to London

My concern before going was that the web site did not show a picture of the pool and before we went we were not expecting this to be very good. What a pleasant surprise we had when we arrived as it was a nice size and very clean.

This was an ideal location which was central for touring the Tuscany region. It also had Beautiful views across the coutry side and yet was only a 15 min walk to the San Gimignano were there where plenty of nice restaurants to try out.

Hotel San Michelle was excellent value My Wife and I and our 4 Friends would certainly recommend the Hotel to anyone.
The veiw from the swimming pool was magnificent.

The rooms with a view were spectacular and the accomodations were quite comfortable.
Breakfast was in a lovely outdoor garden patio covered with a grape vine.
There was air-conditioning and a very refreshing swimming pool to help beat the soaring temps.

The only negative aspect was breakfast accompanied by two feuding sisters.
Otherwise, the breakfast with table service for hot beverages and croissants was quite satisfying and enjoyable. Other items were buffet style. The only item I felt was missing was fresh fruit.

A comfortable, clean room overlooking a relaxing setting with a fabulous view of the Tuscan Hills.
The proximity to San Gimignano and other hill towns is a definite plus.
Sufficient parking was also a plus.

Charming destination overlooking the Tuscany vineyard valley. A 20minute walk from San Gimignano. Bus literally drops you off next door to the hotel. Clean accomodation. Excellent breakfast, outdoor swimming pool was very refreshing.
Left our backpack there with a camera and contacted the sisters and they accomodated us by sending the package to the USA.

The hotel had beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside. San Giminano was within easy walking distance. It was very pleasant sitting outside by the pool after being out all day sightseeing. Although the hotel was located on a fairly busy road, the downstairs rooms were very quiet.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel San Michele. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel owners were always pleasant and helpful to us. The swimming pool was great and we liked the location which was just far enough from town to be quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to be able to walk in for dinner. I would highly recommend this hotel. Good value for the price.

We were given a handi-cap room. They said it was all they had so we could not change. It worked out just fine.

We found the owners, Roberta and Paulo to be over worked and seemed very stressed at times. They did not always understand us. They spoke several languages. When speaking to other guests in German, Italian or French they seemed more at ease.

Lovely B & B just outside of San Gimengano. Easy walk or bus ride to the town. Complete breakfast with cheeses, salami or ham, yogart, cereal and rolls.Fresh fruit and breakfast breads. Nice location for traveling to other towns in Tuscany. Beautiful views from your window. Comfortable beds.

Nice place to stay if you are not in hurry, old city within fair walking distance, good place to relax. Majority of guests (as well as tourists around) seems to be from Germany. Hotel is not easy to find unless you have its exact location in your GPS, even detailed maps of Italy won't be of much help.

Clean, tidy, satisfactory, staff a little detached. Check the air conditioning, smoky room, and if the drains are blocked.
Get your own maps and do yoour own research about what is in the area because the staff are not forthcoming.

one surprise - nobody talled us about the
toilette, it was not comfortable because it
was for disables. I would like to know about
it before my arrivle, because the price is not
cheep.
but everything was really excellence, clean,
beutifull and friendly.
