Food & Wine:
Once a week we arrange dinners - a blend of italian cooking with vegetarian dishes from around the world. When possible the vegetables and fruit are from fattoria San Martinos own production. San Martino has beehives and produce their own honey and also make a couple of hundred liters of bio dynamic Extra Virgin olive oil. Karin stores their olive oil in her own designed terra cotta bottles as it is best kept in a dark container and in a cool place. Every guest is welcomed with a cup of tea, coffee or a glass of wine.

The Breakfast room:
The long wooden table below the antique chandeliers in the refurbished outbuilding is where guests enjoy their breakfast or, when gently persuaded, Karin prepares unforgetable delicious vegetarian meals for them. The table is decorated with simplicity. Candlelight in glass vases, white bowls with nuts and almonds (all from the farm), a wooden branch and a couple of roses from the garden create an elegant and peaceful atmosphere. The large black fireplace in cast iron heats up the big room during the short winters. Breakfast can likewise be served outdoors, aligned so everyone gets space and their full share of the view, whilst enjoying homemade yoghurt, cake and bread with honey, jam and marmalades, all 100% bio dynamic homemade productions.

The outdoor spaces:
In continuation of the kitchen the couple created a covered outdoors pace where they dine in the shade all summer overlooking the biological swimming pond. Space is a huge luxury, partly because the large rooms are cool in the summer but also because you as a guest need to be able to feel private in the rooms, emphasizes Karin and enjoys having guests who are satisfied and feel comfortable and at ease in the surroundings she and her husband have created. The beds have thick natural fibre sheets, millet pillows and real woolen blankets. The beds are all built by Antonio, cupboard doors have a favorite poetry stenciled onto them and the cushions and lampshades are designed by Karin.

The Swimming Pond:
On the lawn behind the farmhouse the couple have created an all natural 20m long swimming pond. Under the pergola you can enjoy a peace full moment on the comfortable wooden loungers enjoying the surrounding scenery.  Enjoy a quiet moment in the afternoon shade by the innovative atural pool

The Kitchen:
The kitchen adds on to the breakfast room and guests are free and welcome to use the kitchen to cook in or can on request have Karin prepare them vegetarian meals. The table in the middle of the room came from a carpenter and is now used as a work top, and stores herbs and Olive oil. Slates of leftover wood from the floors are piled up and used as decorative chopping boards.

Horses:
A couple of years ago Antonio, helped along by his sons, built a stable and they now keep 6 horses. The whole family enjoy horseback riding and also believe it to be good for the soul to be surrounded by these beautiful creatures.
