 Only 3 kms away from Volterra, jewel town of Etruscan, Roman and Medieval art, the ancient farmhouse of "Podere San Lorenzo" appears with its peculiar red tile roofs among centenary olive trees, toghether with the small bellfry and its old bakery. The farmland hosts 1200 olive trees which give extra-virgin olive oil of extraordinary purity and quality since no pesticides are in use. The farm sells its extra-virgin olive oil. In the orchard beside the farmhouse a wide variety of vegetables and herbs are cultivated and used to give taste and scent to the food catered with great care for our guests, who will be able to enjoy it in the shade of the ancient walls as well as in a warm and refined atmosphere. |
 The Franciscan church bearing the same name was built before 1300. It has been fully restructured and forms a whole with the other buildings which is full of historical traces but at the same time offering a fully qualified hospitality up the best modern standards.The estate is composed by eight apartments / bedrooms all very comfortable and furnished with typical old Tuscan artefacts. |
