 The Restaurant: The dishes are all preparated according to the authentic Tuscan tradition, with flavours varying according to the different season. There is obivously the well-known Tuscan bread baked in the ancient oven, the homemade "pasta" and a wide range of cheeses bearing the scent of the unmistakable Tuscan Hills pastures.
The Franciscan Church: It has been fully restructured and now it is used as a dining room or a meeting room for 20/25 people. On request we organize parties, exhibitions and typical Tuscan dinner every day, too. |
Swimming pool: In front of the farmhouse there is an "eco-swimming pool" with pure water completely free from chemicals, where our guests will be able to swimming in the pure water of the pool, surrounding by the nature.
Parking: A spacious covered parking is available for our guests.
The farmhouse is situated in the most peaceful and relaxing surroundings. At the same time our guests will be able to practice their favorite sports and leisure activities: swimming in the pure water of the pool, take mountain-bike excursion, join guided tours of the historical center of Volterra or go trekking in the neighborhood and discover the essential traits of the Tuscan landscape. There is a ping-pong table, too. |

 Podere San Lorenzo is located in the heart of Tuscany, only at 3 kilometres from the center of Volterra. Volterra is not only endowed with historical monuments that illustrate three thousand years of history but also offers three extremely interesting museums The Guarnacci Museum, the Art Gallery and the Museum of Sacred Art. In the historical center there are a few alabaster workshops and a little shopping centre (bank, chemist's, supermarket, post office, grocery and many other services). Moreover, close to the estate, at 2 km, there is an hospital.
In General: Only at an hour's drive it is possible to visit some of the most famous historical cities and sites such as Florence, Pisa, Siena or the smaller medieval towns of San Gimignano, Pienza, San Quirico d'Orcia, Montalcino in search of traditions, perfumes and flavours of by gone times. |
