This is a wonderful, wonderful place to stay. The nicest of all the locations we stayed on our trips to France & Italy. Silvia and Paolo mantaain lovely balance between making us feel at welcome, efficiency, plus attention to detail.The staff were also very nice and the food was delicious.We would return there at the first opportunity and absolutely give it the highest recommendation

It is truly difficult to choose a destination when there were some many to choose from. The photos depicted the location to the letter; however, being there in person was the true test!

Check-out was seamless. Our hostess had the bill ready with every detail of the stay. Very organized, clear to read and understand. It was perfect.

The brunches were fantastic. There is no pressure to do anything but enjoy your presence at a beautiful setting. The location could not have been picked any better. There is care and loving at Podere Salicotto that pictures and web information can not do justice!

One of the most romantic and beatiful sites one can imagine. From the rolling Tuscan hills to the sunset over the mountains nearby. Peaceful and quite, uninterupted by civilization, a masterpiece in a country of masterpieces!

Poderre Salicotto in Buenconvento, a real must!! Very pleasant people, splendid rooms, quiet lain on the top of the Toscan hillocks !Yes real something to return certainly to !!!

Podere Salicotto was an excellent choice in a spectacular location, we spent a beautiful week there. The hosts, Silvia and Paolo, and Neda with her delicious breakfasts were charming, and always very helpful - we got an absolutely professional service.

Our party of 6 enjoyed our stay. The rooms were exceptional and our hosts were very friendly and warm. they went out of their way to make our stay a good experience. I would recommend this stop on your trip through Tuscany.

The arrival was clear and extremely friendly, although it is better to arrive there during day light as it will be somewhat difficult to find the place when it is dark (the whole area is very dark at night).

The place is absolutely gorgeous, including the room, dinning place, pool, livining room and especially the surrounding views!

The check out was smooth and as warm as the check in.

The place is very well kept, service is the best you can have and it is located in the center and most beautiful part of Toscany.

Silvia and Paulo came out to greet us as soon as we arrived at Podere Salicotto. Their smiles and gracious welcome made us feel right at home immediately. They could not have been more gracious.

Podere was spotlessly clean and more than we expected. It is a beautiful place, epitomizing the charm and warmth of the Italy hill country. We were spoiled with lovely rooms(great beds), a consistently bountiful and delicious breakfast in a charming kitchen, in front of a warming fire (it was mid-October). The owners touched base with us each morning to suggest activities or give us much needed directions. They were very accomodating, as were the Podere staff. We will absolutely be going back to Podere Salicotto.

Check out was efficient and convenient. The owners did all they could to make things as easy for us as possible. We were most sorry to leave, and they came outside to bid us farewell once we were ready to go.

Podere Salicotto is a beautiful place. It was, however, a good thirty-five minute drive from Siena. As were were visiting my daughter in Siena, it would have helped to know how far away it was. Some kilometers are farther than others due to smaller roads, etc.
A wine cellar is provided for all guests. I think, for the wine lover, this is a tidbit that just adds to the appeal of Podere Salicotto.
Also, Silvia and Paulo were most helpful in setting up a hot air balloon ride with a nearby professional. They were very helpful.

I would tell a friend that if they are going to see Italy, they must spend a few days at Podere Salicotto. It is a charming farmhouse, newly renovated will all the amenities, but still has the feel of the real Italy. I would tell them that they need a car to stay there as the farm is in the middle of Tuscany, but driving distance from all the cities that are a must see like Siena, Florence, Perugia, Arezzo, etc.
