The ancient convent of the Zoccolanti (order of St. Francis) was
the feud of the Lambardi Family in the XII century and became their home. By decision of Fra Mansueto Lambardi (beatified) the convent of Giuncheto was founded.

St. Agnese (sister of St. Chiara ), stayed in the convent for the first part of the XIII century
and founded the convent of Claris. Unfortunately in 1554 the sisters had to leave the convent due to a series of mercenary attacks.
