 Rugapiana is an ancient and elegant palace situated in the hill of Cortona in the heart of etruscan town, 2 hours drive from Florence, 1 hour from Siena an half an hour from Trasimeno lake. The town of Cortona lies on a hill and is surrounded by ancient Etruscan walls. It is most famous for its narrow, steep streets, and its many churches and museums. By car
From the highway A1 take the exit Valdichiana, take the sideway Siena-Perugia, in the direction of Perugia. After driving for 10 km take the exit for Cortona. Via Nazionale is in the centre of Cortona, once you arrive in Cortona follow the indications for Rugapiana Vacanze.
By train
If you want to reach Cortona by train, you'll have to get off at the Camucia train station; from there you can choose to catch a bus till Cortona or a taxi that will take you to Cortona in 5 minutes. The bus will leave you a few minutes walking from Rugapiana Vacanze: take via Nazionale, the House is at the end of the road. |
