Rugapiana is the most popular road for both Cortona's inhabitants and tourists who come to visit this medieval jewel surrounded by its Etruscan walls and lying on a hill overlooking the valley and the lake Trasimeno. In the middle of this road an ancient palace has been skilfully restored. Every apartment maintains the ancient local stone wall, fired brick floors and wooden beamed floors, respecting the architecture of the past.
