1) A better picture of the very nice swimming pool and its surroundings. On the present website it is not very clear.
2) Mentioning the possibility to have dinner and/or lunch and/or breakfast outside when the weather permits.

A very nice and comfortable place with a very friendly and helpfull staff, strategically located on the westside of the Chianti, near the Superstrada FI-SI, in a quiet environment with a marvellous view on the old city of Colle di Val d'Elsa.

That it is situated close to Calle de Vallse which has a wonderful local market, That it is well singposted once you get close to the town and that it has loveley resteraunts within walking distance of the hotel.

We had a very difficult time finding the property. A small map showing the route from the A1 would be helpful.

The room was more than spacious, I would say cavernous even. Wood floors and a tall ceiling meant that sounds echoed through the two rooms. The room was nice but lacked warmth. I would replace the stylish but not very functional chairs with a small sofa and chair, and carpet the room.

The location is not ideal. It is in a sort of commercial/retail type area, and lacks the charm of staying in the countyside or in the middle of an old village.

Recommend more powerfull airco in the room. When we arrived, the room was hot and the availble airco could not cool it down.
Would be nice to be given the option to get a rooms with minimum noise (at more cost is OK.)

There was a restaurant that was not affiliated with the hotel but located on its property. I would not recommend going there, the quality of the food was not up to par and it was excessively overpriced.

Excellent decor and overall atmosphere with exceptionally friendly staff made our honeymoon stay out of this world. Be sure to do the wine tours and spend the evenings around the town center where there is more nightlife and restaurants.

We were unaware that the restaurant would be closed. We were looking forward to eating there.

A treat on the Chianti Rd. The grounds are lovely. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. We stayed in a junior suite with our two children and had plenty of room and privacy with a patio outside the master bedroom. We would have loved to stay longer but were passing through on our way to Florence.

It would be very helpful to future guests of the property if additional directions to the property are published on the website. After taking the Colle di Val D'Elsa Sud exit on the Siena-Firenze highway, we did not really see any signs to Localita La Badia as was indicated in the website. Fortunately, after driving around for 15 minutes, we did see and followed the signs to Relais Della Rovere.
I would like to especially commend the reception and registration staff at Relais Della Rovere for their efficiency, kindness and very warm welcome. The staff managing the breakfast was equally efficient and helpful.

There is a restaurant on the property which served very good regional food. It was such a welcome convenience to us not to be troubled with trying to find a place to eat for dinner, since we arrived and checked-in quite late.

The directions issued were quiet confusing. We tried to stick to them however we went wrong from the very beginning. We were unable to find the roads etc. however this could have been down to language difference.

Very nice and caring staff. I will absolutely recommend it to others. Though it was not so easy to find, we arrived by car from Bologna. It was a bit confusing. Perhaps would a better map do. Or a link to some web page, where you can insert the route and see where the relais is.

The property has a beautiful architecture and one would expect interior decoration more comfortable/ special. The swimming pool is excepcionally agreable and settled in a beautiful garden.
Staff is very attencious and helpful.
Decoration of rooms is poor.
Untill we got there , we never realized is was so close to an urban area. Colle Val D'Elsa is a very interesting village.

The fact that this property is so close to a citty never occured to us until we got there. As first we were a bit desapointed that is wasn't in the countryside, but then , everybody was so nice and the pool so pretty and our room so quiet , that we felt very well.

The bar area is very poor, there should be a reading /relaxing area with an improved decoration in the sense of Simple and elegant.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff superb. In-room tea/coffee making facilities would improve the offering. Soundproofing is almost non-existent and you can hear everything...even from bedrooms some distance away!! The restaurant was very disappointing and expensive. Poor ambience and very slow, abeit pleasant,service. It is run by a concessionaire, who commenced only a month ago. We were surprised that there was a cover charge. Food was reasonably good but little of it!

It was surprising to find that a hotel of this rating had a bar that closed at 2000h
Breakfast: coffee was disgusting,otherwise food was ok.
The restaurant I believe doesn't belong to the hotel; staff excellent, food fair, wines expensive. Partner's steak of poor quality, tough. Food could have been a bit more imaginative.
Shower in bath whilst working wasn't suitable to have a proper shower

We had requested two twin beds in a room with traditional decor. They did not seem aware of the twin bed request. It turned out that the twin beds were only available in a contemporary room setting..so that is what they ended up giving us. They were very gracious though...showing us several rooms that we could choose from.

My flight was delayed and I arrived very late. The hotel arranged a taxi for me, at my request, and the driver was waiting for me at Pisa Airport. The gentleman on reception when I arrived (after midnight) was very kind and very helpful.

We had to change rooms because of the constant barking of a dog in town. The receptionist did the change without fuss.
Could we suggest to install a hook for the shower so a shower can be taken standing up and with both hands free.
We had a lovely stay and most certainly would return.
