Directions could be better to get to the exact location,of the property ,gets you to Calci but needs more to the exact location of Villa Rosselmini

Excellent,quiet location within easy reach of Pisa /Lucca and with good access to other major centres.Good local services eg supermarket,plenty local restaurants,very friendly people.Good swimming pool and sun terrace.
Old converted farm style buildings, simple but very clean.

Additional Bikes would be an advantage.
Collection from Pisa airport would also be a plus,

A little better sign outside the building would make it even easier to find.

Since we arrived in a periode with very high temperatures, it would have been very nice with a couple of electric fans in the bedrooms. It got very hot in the night time. Mosquitenets in front of the windows could also be an idee to think about.
Else a very nice and pleasant stay for the whole family.

Nice, clean, quite and recommendably. Though be prepared to buy a couple of fans for the bedrooms if hot weather.
A place we liked and wouldn't mind going back for another stay.
Everyone we met working in the Villa was very nice with a high level of service.

A unique and exceptionally beautiful spot. We really felt we had lucked out. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The village has the best ice-cream in italy and the Certosa di Pisa was well worth the visit. I can't believe how cheap it was and we will be recommending it to all our friends.

We had a very nice vacation at Villa Rosselmini. Close to all places in Toscana and also to the Cinque Terre. The apartment was very nice and the little village Calci was only 5 minutes walk away. My very best reccomendations!

Very nice and well maintained and superbly fitted out with all required utensils. Could be improved by providing some possible theme evenings where all the guests could meet and enjoy each others company eg barbecue or similar. Could possibly benefit by having a centre restaraunt and bar.

Because we had stayed at Villa Rosselmini last year, we knew how to get there. I found your instructions confusing and wouldn't be able to find the Villa trying to follow them. Not everyone in the village knows where it is even though it's been there for a few hundred years!

This was our second stay at Villa Rosselmini, so we knew what to expect. We went back to Calci because we love the Villa, the town and the area.
I find it really frustrating, though, that certain items are not included - dishwashing soap, paper towels, toilet paper, handsoap in the bathroom. Every other apartment we have ever stayed in anywhere in the world has provided these necessary items. People assume these items will be included and wouldn't think to buy them before arriving or on the Saturday after arriving. The stores are closed on Sunday, so they have to buy full sizes of these items on Monday for 5 days. I really think it should be spelled out on the website or better still have them available in every apartment.

We have taken videos of Villa Rosselmini - both outside in the grounds and in our apartment and rave about it to all our friends. It's ideally located for the activities and places we're interested in. Also it's very comfortable and excellent value for the money. We also like the fact that it's right on the edge of a small town.

I think it would be helpful to advise guests regarding the use of sun protection creams, mosquito repellants and where necessary ant removal substances.

Taking into account the requirement to clean the accommodation prior to the arrival of new guests, it would be more convenient if check out time was by 10.00hrs.

Detailed plan of Calci showing location of local amenities, i.e. grocery shops, post office, restaurants, garages and any other places of interest.

Calci is a small village surrounded on three sides by hills. It is a picturesque location, set in well kept gardens with a nice sized swimming pool and garageing for cars. The apartments are comfortable and cool in the height of summer. The amenities in Calci are within walking distance.

A map of the local area to find the gite would have been very helpful...we took 30 mins from Calci with regular phone calls to actually locate it. A map would have made a huge difference.
Otherwise everything about Gite as we expected ie excellent.

We were sur[rised that the shutters were internal and not external making it hard to ventilate the gite and keep light out so nigttimes were uncomfiortably hot - yet outisde cooler.

We used the map at the cafe to find the property
...
1) The toilet was not cleaned. And we believe the floor wasn't cleaned either. We had to do this ourselves. Because the staff was polite we did not want to complain.
2) The property was 300 m. away from the property shown on the web, inlcluding the swimming pool. This was somewhat inconvenient with the children.
Most notably, there was no toilet at the swimming pool.

It should be stated that the property (Pascolo) is away from the swimming pool and that the pool has no toilet.

Overall a nice place to stay, albeit we had some minor negative points.
