Medioeval village in a good conditions, Monteggiori is located in front of the Alpi Apuane, from the Castle you can see all the Valdicastello ( where Giosuč Carducci was born). From here you can have a beautiful Panorama within Pietrasanta  and the sea. Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio  with shops and boutiques, night life and sports facilities, are 8-11 km away from La Rocca di Monteggiori.
