 Swimming pool: in the garden of La Ripa, rustic wooden steps lead down to the kidney-shaped pool, which is beautiful in itself and made even more so by its gorgeous setting, nestling on a grassy slope with wines and umbrella pines above and a necklace of mature woods below. The pool (15.5 mx 6 m, 1.4 m deep) is open from mid May to end September. |
 It is one of the most fascinating building in the area of San Gimignano and also a small farm of 4 hectars condudted at wines, olives and wood, where you may have the opportunity to purchase wine and olive oil made in the estate.
We put at guests disposal 2 mountain bikes to discover the beautiful of the countryside, barbecue and pizza oven to make tasteful meals. |

 The up hill and down dale drive from La Ripa to "San Gimignano", just 6 km by crow flight (9 km by car), is spectacularly beautiful and stunning "Certaldo" is even closer. Venturing further afield, the other jewels in Tuscany's crown - Florence, Siena, Volterra - are all less than an hour's drive, so it is position, as well as beauty and comfort, which make La Ripa so special.
