We arrived after the stated check-in time, but were greeted with enthusiasum.

We hope to stay longer next time--it was better than advertised on the website. Prior to our stay there we had been on the road for 11 days and had some laundry to do. They showed us how to use the machines and were happy to accomodate us.

A great family property. Our boys are ages 15 and 11 found this to be a highlight of our trip. They said it felt like 'home'--it had a very relaxed feel, and they enjoyed the pool, too. They prepare a wonderful breakfast--breads, croissants, yogurts, granolas and cereal, cheese, meat, eggs, juice and coffee...it was terrific.

A real treat and fantastic Italian experience. The property is perched on a hillside in Tuscany offering a panoramic view of the Tuscan hills. A wonderful rural experience, but yet close for day trips to Pisa, Florence, Sienna..this would be a great, central location for visiting all that Tuscany has to offer. This time we were only here for 2 nights and little time to absorb the ambiance of the property. Next time we hope to stay a week and make it our home base in Tuscany.

negative - That the roads to get there are not paved. Very secluded and Isolated
positive - Very Secluded and Isolated, with 3 very good restaurants nearby, one next door and the other about 10 min away by Car.

It was a very nice place in a very secluded location. That's my problem, the place was more secluded that I expected. The road to get there was a dirt track with many pot holes. I highly recommend it if you intend to stay there most of the time with short day trips to the vineyards around chanti classico area. If you intend only to use it as a base to visit the various cities in Tuscany, you might be better off staying somewhere where the highway is more accessible.

Exactly as we imagined a Tuscan farmhouse - very peaceful, beautiful scenery and very helpful staff. Ideal for a short stay- not sure for longer , purely because it is well off the beaten track and only one restaurant nearby for the evening. Also, the Fattoria's wine is excellent, including the Rose which you don't see very often in Chianti!

Would have liked to know that it was on such a remote road we arrived in the middle of the night and found it very difficult to find but loved the fattoria and the welcome was lovely

the road to the fattoria is very poor and people should be made aware of this.

Did not realize from descriptions that Il Rignana is located as far from a main road as it is, and the unpaved roads were a bit challenging. Direction signs to the restaurant where helpful in showing the right turns and directions.

Unable to access the Internet with WiFi as listed in descriptions; a Mac computer was available, but still unable to access the Internet.
The property was outstanding! The decor and spaciousness of the villa was incredible, and what a bathroom! It was comfortable, luxurious, romantic, peaceful, and a wonderful place to come back to from daily sightseeing.

Would definitely return and recommend Fattoria di Rignana to any friend visiting Tuscany. Excellent location for visiting Florence with the peace and quiet of the Chianti region. Exquisite views from the infinity pool. Wonderful restaurant next door.

It was too difficult to determine each properties location.
I would like Tuscany.net to have a user interface with a clear and detailed MAP with each properties location. You should be able to click with the mouse on the property for more information. You should be able to zoom in and out.
In general, you need to provide a very good and clean and detailed ROAD MAP to each property.

Web site was not clear about availability of air-conditioning in the rooms. We did not need it, but if it was hotter, then it would be necessary.
