 Relais San Bruno, our exclusive holiday home is in Montepulciano (Siena), in via di Pescaia, 5/7, behind the Basilica of San Biagio. It is about 20 minutes from "autostrada del Sole" (motorway A1) (junction Chiusi-Chianciano Terme), heading towards Montepulciano, two hours from Rome, one hour and a half from Florence and less than one hour from Orvieto, Siena, and San Gemignano. It is perfectly located in a peaceful and quiet position, in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. |

By Car:
From Rome: Take the Highway A1 and exit at Chiusi-Chianciano. Turn right and take the SS 146 (A-Road) and then follow the signs to Montepulciano (about 20 Km). When you reach Montepulciano, you will be in front of San Biagio Cathedral and from that point follow the signs to Relais San Bruno. We are just few meters from there.
From Florence: Take the highway A1 and exit at Valdichiana. Turn left, cross Bettolle and follow the signs to Torrita di Siena. After about 1 km, you will find a road sign, on your right, to Montepulciano. Once there, follow the directions to the "Basilica di San Biagio" and from there the directions to Relais San Bruno.
By Train:
The nearest railway station is Chiusi-Chianciano terme. From the station you can take a taxi or we can arrange a transfer, at extra charge. If you prefer a cheaper way, take the bus, leaving from the exit of the station to Montepulciano and get off in the centre of the village. Reach the Basilica di San Biagio and the signs to Relais San Bruno: it is at about 700 meters, in Via di Pescaia, 5/7.
By Plane:
From Florence airport: We can arrange a transfer from-to the airport at extra charge. If you prefer you can take the bus leaving from the airport to the main railway station Santa Maria Novella in Florence and then take the train to Chiusi Chainciano. From the station take the bus to Montepulciano or a taxi.
From Roma Fiumicino: We can arrange a transfer from/to the airport at extra charge. |
