The Relais Torre Santa Flora stands within the Casentino valley, only 500 metres from the nearest village, Capolona, and 12 kilometres from Arezzo. The tower is right on the bank of the river Arno, surrounded by a splendid valley full of delightful landscapes and abandoned fortresses.

How To Reach Us
 
By plane: The nearest airport is the one in Florence, around 110 kilometres from the Relais. Flights from all over Europe and the rest of Italy arrive here on a regular basis. The railway service will enable you to reach the inn easily.

By car: From the airport in Florence take the A11/E76 heading towards "Bologna/Roma" and then "Pisa Nord". Get on the A1/E35 in the direction "Roma/Firenze/Signa" and get off at the exit "Arezzo". Pass the city and once you are out of it, continue along Viale Amendola. You will reach a roundabout, where you must take the second exit into Viale Filippo Turati. At the next junction, get on the second exit into the SR71, pass the towns of Ponte alla Chiassa and Capolona and continue along Via Vittorio Veneto. Turn right at Piazza della Vitoria, cross the river Arno and take your left. You will find the Relais Torre Santa Flora before reaching Il Palazzo. (This journey will take around 1 hour 15 minutes).

By train: From the airport in Florence, take a bus (Lazzi-Cap service) to the central railway station in the city, Santa Maria Nouvella. Get on the F.S. (state railway) up to Arezzo and then change to the local rail service, the LFI, till you reach Subbiano (this journey takes between an hour and an hour and a half, approximately). From there you can call the hotel for a free transfer service.
