• At what time can we check-in and out?
  All accommodations, Check In from 2pm, Check Out before midday.
• Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
  The prices are per room.
• Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
  Breakfast is included in the price of the room, breakfast. We offer a continental breakfast which includes: rolls, pastries, cold meats and cheese, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit juices, coffee and tea. An hot breakfast is also available (scrambled eggs and ham).
  
• Can we settle the bill on arrival?
  As you prefer.
• Which languages are spoken at the reception?
  English, German, French, Spanish, Italian.
• How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
  There are two floors: ground and first. There is no lift.
• Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
  The area itself is very quiet. Some of our rooms have direct private entrance: those set in the park.
  If you look for a romantic getaway please ask for our new Suites and Junior Suites with sea view and terrace.
• Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
  Some of our room have terrace or balcony others have a garden in front of the room.
• Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
  Some of our rooms have a balcony.
• Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
  Yes, but please ask for them in your reservation request.
• Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite or cable TV)?
  In each room there is a satellite television with a few international channels.
  
• Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
  Yes, in each room there is a telephone with direct dialing.
• Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
  Yes, there is air conditioning in the rooms at no extra charge. Actually we use the air conditioning system only when it is really needed for our environment responsibilty. Air conditioning it's not a must! Temperatures and climate are very confortable on Elba and specifically at Relais delle Picchiaie, wich is on a hill and therefore always quite fresh.
• Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
  Yes. We have an internet point at your disposal in our hall. Then every room has got its own internet access.
• Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
  Yes, we have two swimming pools that are open from April to October.
  
• Is parking or garage available?
  Yes, we have a private parking in the property.
• Where can we rent a car?
  Our offices are happy to help. A Samrt Car is available directly at the hotel.
• Are there grocery stores or supermarkets in the surroundings?
  Yes, the closest at two Km. The biggest in Portoferraio, at 6 Km.
• How far is Florence, Siena, Pisa from the Property?
  These towns are at least a couple of hours from here, since we are on an island.
  
• Which is the nearest village or town?
  The nearest town is Portoferraio, at 6 Km.
• Which is the nearest airport?
  Marina di Campo airport is 16 Km away.
  
• Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
  Yes, upon request.
• Which is the nearest bus-stop?
  At 2 Km at the crossing for Bagnaia.
• Which is the nearest railway station?
  In the mainland: Piombino Marittima.
• How far away is the beach?
  The nearest (Schiopparello) is at 2 Km.
• Is the beach private or public?
  This is public but we have special arrangements with a private beach in Lacona (8 Km).
• Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
  Yes, we have a wellness centre with Sauna, Emotional shower, Jacuzzi, Gym, Turkish bath: all this facilities are included in prices. Ayurvedic treatments are available at an extra charge (June to September).
• Are pets welcome?
  Yes. There is an extra charge to pay. We have specific rooms with fenced garden for your little friends and a reserved area close to the swimming pool for our guests traveling with pets.
  Pets are not allowed in public places of the hotel such as hall and restaurant.
• Is there a restaurant in the Property?
  Yes, we have a gourmet restaurant.
• Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
  Yes, you'll have a speed internet connection in your room.
