Nicola, the proprietor was very helpful in getting us settled in. ... The overall service and accomodations were wonderful. Would have liked to have had more frequent linen service. ... I had to pay the full bill on check out. My credit card was never debited prior to arrival as expected. ... View amazing sunrises without leaving yoiur bed! ... Lovely ancient castle converted into a b&b situated atop a hill surrounded by olive groves and an incredible view of medievil Siena that can't be beat.

Just a note that if traveling by GPS (which I highly recommend for Tuscany travel) it doesn't take you all the way to the castle. Continue traveling for a few minutes on Strada di Pieve al Bozzone and you will see the castle on your right. ... There's lots of good to say about Castello delle Quattro Torra so lets get the bad out of the way first... We arrived on 11/27 so it was a little cold and we required heat (included in the price). The heater in the room was very loud and cycled on and off every few minutes which was annoying. Also, as everyone else has mentioned, there are about 70 stairs to get to the tower room and the last 2 flights are difficult to navigate, especially with big luggage (Nicola helped out).
All in all we really had a great stay. This was our first trip to Tuscany and I just couldn't resist staying in a castle! Castello delle Quattro Torra doesn't disappoint. It looks and feels like a (small) castle, the tower room we stayed in was great. It had windows on all 4 sides with really fantastic views of the countryside. The room itself looked just like the pictures, it was the most spacious room we stayed in, in Italy. It was also clean and comfortable (but a tiny bit chilly). The shower was bigger than a phone booth so that was a nice perk too :)
Nicola helped us out with dinner reservations and he sent us to a fabulous restaurant, Cane e Gatto, for my wife's birthday. He told them it was her birthday and they arranged a little cake and candle for her. The food was french/italian and was amazing. It was very expensive but we thought it was well worth it.
The wireless internet wasn't working at the time but we were able to use his computer and internet connection without a problem.
The breakfast was typical European with some juice, breads, salami, cheese and cappuccino or coffee (get the cappuccino).
All in all we were really happy with our stay and recommend this place to others.

The owners were very helpful and nice. ... Nicola help us with the bags which with 75 steps is a good exercise. The place is worth every penny. ... Its close to every thing, We spend 6 days travelling to differents towns, so great place for a pied à terre. ... Its was magical, the history, the view. Its about 10 minutes drive to Siena, but so quiet.

We drove around Siena for almost an hour trying to find the right exit to take to head towards Castello delle Quattro Torra. The key piece of information needed is to take the roads which point you towards 'Santa Regina'. This is important information! It's only ~5 minutes outside of Siena once you head in that direction. ... Nicola was WONDERFUL to work with. He had great tips for places to have dinner, and wonderful insight on day trips. Castello delle Quattro Torra was the perfect place for us to spend 4 nights - taking day trip from there. I cannot recommend it enough... ... Checking out was fast and organized. Everything was in order. ... I would highly recommed posting pictures of the views from the Tower Room. They are AMAZING, and are the highlight of the room! ... Castello delle Quattro Torra is a charming, relaxing, and romantic get away. The Tower Room was so unique - the views take your breath away. The room was very clean, and one of the best we stayed in during our 10 days in Italy. We felt like we were at a private retreat! The grounds were beautiful, and great for taking a walk. Breakfast was the best we had during our trip - plenty to eat, wonderful coffee, and always served at the time you choose. You absolutely must visit this place...it's like no other!

We had a wonderful stay. Laura, the owner, even did laundry for us and introduced us to her granddaughter. We will recommend this Bed and Breakfast to all our friends and will surely visit again in the near future. ... A wonderful, unusual experience, not to be missed if you are going to Siena.

Nicola was extremely helpful, and even came to pick us up and meet us when we arrived in Sienna. ... Room was quaint, clean, well-furnished and had a great deal of character. We were surrounded by windows which allowed an amazing view of Sienna and the surrounding Tuscan hills. We stayed in the tower room, which was a little difficult to get to- be prepared to climb 3 flights of stairs, and then two tight spiral stairways (with luggage!) Very unspoiled and rustic- A true 'castle' experience. Nicola, the owner, recommended restaurants in town and even made reservations for us. Staff was friendly, helpful and just great! ... beautiful view of Sienna, have to bring luggage up 4 flights of stairs. ... An amazing experience. Rustic & unspoiled. Just what I thought staying in the tower of a castle would be like.

L'endroit pourrait etre indiqué plus clairement, car c'est tres difficille a trouver. ...

Our stay at the Castello delle Quatro Torra was fantastic! The view was inspiring, the apartment beautiful, clean and functional, and the service warm, friendly and professional. We were close to Siena, my favourite city in Tuscany, and we were able to enjoy the quiet countryside setting of the Castello. I am planning to write a review in Trip Advisor, and my husband and I have vowed to return!!
Louise Duhamel ... (see above) ... More than very good value for the money...the quiet countryside alone was worth it. ... A litte bit more about the history of the Castello... ... I did describe it to a friend, in an email, while I was there: the Castello is like a fairy tale come to life!!

On our approach we spotted the Castle from the road which was beautifully nestled in the Tuscan hills. With great views of Sienna and very tranquil surroundings we throughly enjoyed our stay and it certainly added to an excellent holiday experience in Italy.

There are many stairs at the castle and the owner helped me get all my belongings to my car. It was very nice of him. ... It was an amazing stay. The castle is a little hard to find unless you have a GPS. We did have one and it made the entire trip very easy. The castle is just amazing. The views are wonderful and the owners are very pleasent and helpful.

When we arrived, we banged on the front door a little and someone came out afterward. They called the person who checks us in, as he does not live in the Castle or was off on an errand. Once he met with us, he checked us in, and the great experience began. Very nice, very courteous. Wonderful host. ... The tower at the castle was wonderful. Bedroom and bathrooms were very nice, even by US standards. The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking, and there are 5+ windows to see all around you. The room was very clean and well kept. Having access to the internet in the common room was very helpful, and the breakfasts in the morning were simple but excellent. The people there were extremely polite, and took very good care of our every need. They even recommended restaurants in Siena where we ate and really enjoyed the food. Overall, a wonderful place and wonderful experience. We would definitely stay there again. ... Quick and easy since we paid on the first day there. There was no rushing us out. We took our time and left when we were ready. ... None. The place is amazing. ... The perfect, romantic place to stay in the Tuscan region and in Siena. Beautiful countryside and accomodations.

The inn was difficult to find as the road was under construction and we were never alerted about an alternate route. The inn could have sent an e-mail alteting their guests of this situation. Other than this minor problem, the inn is wonderful and we would highly recommed it.

Beautiful place, a 5 minute drive to the center of town. Would definitely come back but would rent a car this time so we wouldn't have to call a taxi which can be a little expensive. If you're looking for something unique, in the middle of beautiful tuscan landscape with gorgeous views of the sunrise and sunset - this is the place to stay!

road signage would be helpful ... Greater attention to bathroom - that is, more soap, fresh towels, spare toilet roll, etc would be in keeping with universal standards and expectations. An extra 'lounge' chair in the TV/entrance of the room would have been appreciated. ... A most enchanting place to stay. Comparatively easy to get to and only a short drive into Sienna. Comfortable room. (however, take a torch as the entrance - exterior and interior are inadequately lit)
