Mara met us as we drove in and immediately got us situated in our rooms. She gave us the lay of the 'land' and provided us directions each day to any destination that we were headed off to. She was wonderful and made us feel like family.
For the directions, please add that drivers should go through San Ginmanago and turn left at the next intersection towards Gambassi.

The website does not do Tentu justice. We were not prepared for the beauty of this place. The sweeping Tuscany views, the peacefulness, the homeiness. I would come back in a heartbeat.
On the website, there is the impression that breakfast is included. Though Mara was wondeful in providing breakfast, it was an additional cost. This property does come up under bread-and-breakfasts. She does make a wicked cappacino!

The grounds were absolutely beautiful. We were immediately greeted upon arrival.

I definitely thought the grounds looked better in person. The pictures on the website are great however it just looks more up to date and more grand once you see it in person. Breath taking!

I highly recommend Tenuta Quadrifoglio to everyone out there traveling in Tuscany. The price was very reasonable for what you got.

Everything there was so well maintained. The rooms are so charming and comfortable. Felt like being at home. I loved that there was a hair dryer in the room...that might be something to state online because traveling from the States...that's something that is helpful to know.

We arrived very late (after 01.00)but the receptionist still showed us all around the grounds and explained everything to us.

We thought the property far exceeded our expectations. The photos on the web site could show the property better. For example, the large swimming pool isn't shown, only the small one.

Magnificent views and Immaculately kept gardens. An ideal base for visiting Pisa Florence and Sienna and very close to the beautiful towns of San Gimignano and Volterra.

This was our first visit to Tuscanny and we were not sure which part to stay in but we now believe we couldn't have chosen a better location.

The Tenuta Quadrifoglio was fabulous. The views from there were spectacular. It was only 15 mins in the car to San Gimignano so it was great as a base. And there was a restaurant and bar 5 mins up the road which was very handy. All in all, an excellent venue.

I have described it to all my friends as an absolutely gorgeous place on the top of a mountain. The apartment was the best of any place we stayed in Italy. The entire property was a beautiful, peaceful place to stay and everyone in my group absolutely adored it. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. They gave us a card to use for discounts at area resturaunts. They were very helpful with directions to various places and with information regarding the train to Florence and Seinna.

Wonderful; fantastic accommodation, very friendly staff. Optional breakfasts very good. Pools excellent, toys and floats provided for children. Lots of sunloungers and parasols. Beautifully maintained grounds with stunning views from the lower swimming pool terrace in particular. All staff extremely friendly and helpful.

This is an incredibly beautiful property. We loved every minute of our stay here. It was just too short. We had picked up food in the town of Greve (salami, bread, cheese, wine and biscotti,) and had dinner by the pool, under the stars. The place was immaculately maintained and the service very friendly. They do not serve dinner, but there are places nearby. We didn't want to leave, and would have loved to visit during the summer when we could have used the pool. Definitely recommend this place.

There are only five rooms and they are very nice. The estate has many private parties because it is such a beautiful place. The day of our stay there was a first communion party that lasted until midnight, but we enjoyed hearing the music. Lots of fun times here.

Directions from Pisa lead you to Gambassi Terme OK, but then there are no signs for Castagno

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay and thought that the accomodation was of the highest standard. The grounds and gardens were beutifully maintained. We personally enjoyed seeing the weddings which took place at the property during our stay (which we were advised of in advance), but these might not suit everyone.

The website gives a very good vision of what the property is like but perhaps the restrictions imposed during weddings should be noted. While these were fine for us, they may not suit everyone.

map on the website was not very detailed, but could easily be improved. there are good signs on the actual highway, however. that is the only way we found the inn.

It was a bit confusing trying to find the place coming from Sienna. Luckily, we stumbled upon a sign near San Gimignano and found it. Once we did, it was picture perfect and the breakfast (especially the coffee) was incredible.

It is an amazing place to stay. Close enough to the towns you want to visit, but sufficiently removed to feel the calm of Tuscany.
Also, we were there during the 'blackout' in Italy. Tenuta has a generator, so we never missed a beat. It shows that this place is high quality and dedicated to making their guests comfortable.

It is a slice of paradise in the hills of Tuscany. Two swimming pools and a gorgeous view. This is why you go to Tuscany.

Relaxing, well appointed, many nice places to visit nearby including a winery almost across the street. We especially liked the kitchen facilities provided and enjoyed eating on our patio. The view from our front stoop was post card quality any time of the day!

The best place we stayed during our time in Italy. Tenuta Q was amazing- great staff, great rooms, great location. Everything was perfect!
I'd make the directions a little clearer on the website, though- we got lost around San Gim.
