• At what time can we check-in and out?
  Check In: from midday.
  Check Out: before 10:00 a.m.
  Please let us know in advance what time you intend to check in.
• Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
  The prices are per room or per apartment.
• Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
  Breakfast is included in the price of the room, but please note that the price of the apartments do not include breakfast - although this can be provided at a small additional cost. We offer a continental breakfast which includes: rolls, pastries, cold meats and cheese, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit juices, coffee and tea. A simple hot breakfast is also available (scrambled eggs and ham).
• Is heating included in the price?
  Each room has central heating. In addition there is also air conditioning which can provide heat. The apartments also have wood burning stoves. The cost of the heating/air-conditioning is included in the price.
• Can we settle the bill on arrival?
  No, because we have to receive the balance upon the arrival. (View Payment Policy)
• Which languages are spoken at the reception?
  We speak English and Italian.
• How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
  THere are 3 floors, however with the exception of one of our apartments, each room is accessable via pathways, it sounds a little complicated but it isn't! The top apartment is entered via short stairway.
• Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
  Each room is independent. One of our apartments can be considered "romantic" as it has a four poster bed. Our rooms are peaceful and private.
• Are linens and towels provided or do I need to bring my own?
  All linen and towels are provided.
• Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
  Two of our bedrooms have a terrace. One of the apartments has a private terrace.
• Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
  One apartment has a terrace/balcony.
• Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
  All of our rooms are non-smoking. There are plenty of areas around the farm complex where visitors may smoke.
• Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite or cable TV)?
  Each room has satellite TV. BBC World, BBC Prime, CNN, SkyNews, Fox, CNBC are included.
• Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
  The telephones are not yet installed in our rooms. However, you may use our house telephone for important incoming and outgoing calls.
• Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
  Air conditioning is provided in 3 bedrooms and both apartments and is included in the price.
• Is there a dining room where we could sometimes all dine together?
  We plan to offer simple dinner once or twice a week depending upon demand.
• Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
  Internet and E-Mail point are available by request.
• Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
  Our swimming pool is 14.5 meters long and is for the exclusive use of our guests.
• Is parking or garage available?
  Yes, parking is available.
• Where can we rent a car?
  There are many car hire firms in Arezzo and at all airports and railway stations. For example: In Castiglion Fiorentino: Martinelli Italo, in Arezzo: Europcar, AVIS.
• Are there grocery stores or supermarkets in the surroundings?
  There is a small "village shop" which sells most daily needs including fresh milk and bread. There is also a supermarket in Castiglion Fiorentino.
• Are there vineyards nearby?
  Yes, there are many independent vinyards in this valley (Val di Chio) owned by small local farmers. Arezzo province has many vinyards some taking in the Chianti region. However, many guests also take charming drive to the Chianti region and other important wine producing areas.
• How far is Florence, Siena, Pisa from the Property?
  Florence is 75 kms (47 miles) far, Siena is 40 km(27 miles)far and Pisa is 150 km (94 miles) far.
• Which is the nearest village or town?
  Castiglion Fiorentino is our town. We are in Pieve di Chio.
• Which is the nearest airport?
  There are various airports: Firenze (Amerigo Vespucci) and Perugia (Adamo Giulietta), however both Rome, Pisa and Bologna airports are each within 2 hours.
• Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
  There are high speed train links from Arezzo to Florence, Rome, Milan, Pisa etc. We can arrange to collect passengers from Arezzo or our local station Catiglion Fiorentino.
• Which is the nearest bus-stop?
  Buses run frequently from Catiglion Fiorentino to Arezzo and Cortona. A local service to Pieve di Chio is only 4 times per day.
• Which is the nearest railway station?
  Castiglion Fiorentino (local trains) and Arezzo (high speed links to Rome, Florence, Milan, Pisa, Bologna etc).
• Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
  No, however there are a number of gyms in the town. Here there are various walks and cycling tours our guests can explore.
• Are pets welcome?
  We have 2 small dogs and one is a little jealous! Sorry, no pets.
• Is there a restaurant in the Property?
  We serve breakfast. We can also provide simple dinners once or twice a week depending upon demand. Light lunches are available around the pool-side.
• Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
  No, at the moment.
