| | | Boasting a charming setting in southern Tuscany's Castiglion Fiorentino area, in the province of Arezzo, Casa Portagioia Bed & Breakfast offers both an ideal solution for a peaceful break in the countryside and a perfect base for exploring the history, towns, museums and galleries of Tuscany and Umbria.
A small estate surrounded by olive groves and offering gorgeous views of the Valle di Chio, Casa Portagioia offers luxury accommodation in beautifully appointed rooms and apartments.
On-site amenities include a heated outside pool, laundry service, Internet access and bicycle hire. Refreshments are available to order by the pool or on the delightful dining room terrace, and twice-weekly Tuscan dinner parties are organised for guests (optional).
A full continental breakfast is served in the dining room or on the sunny terrace (overlooking an olive grove) between 8.30 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. each Sunday.
Room service is also available upon request (between 9.30 a.m. and 10.30 a.m.).
