Our stay at Ponte a Nappo could not have been better. Our apartment was spacious and clean with better than anticipated views of nearby San Gimignano and the beautiful surrounding countryside. The grounds and gardens were well maintained and with the newly added swimming pool provided an exceptionally pleasant place to relax and enjoy the views of the Tuscan countryside. ... Perhaps ithas been added by they do have a new pool that was not listed when I booked in early 2007. ... Comfortable, quiet, country farmhome with modern faclities. Carla and her sons Andrea & Francesco made us feel like part of their family. They were always friendly and accomodating whenever we had questions.

Welcomed with open arms. ... Loved Ponte a Nappo!! Would recommend to anyone traveling in the Tuscany region. What a find after a long and exhausting trip through Germany, Austria and Italy. Tranquil, beautiful and relaxing -- just what we needed. But the best part was the gracious and kind Rossi family. They welcomed us as though we were coming into their home. We can't wait to go back! ... My comments above. ... My comments above.

I missed the directions on the website and didn't print them out. We asked someone at the gas station and they gave us terrific directions. The entrance is marked, but I missed the 'office' for checking in. A gentleman helped direct us. A small map on the confirmation notice might be nice for a suggestion. Otherwise, no problems. ... I loved the location and the accomodations. For similar prices, over the three weeks I traveled in Italy, I would have to say it was a bit pricey. It would have been nice to have a breakfast included or a bottle of the wine that is produced on the property. Other accomodations did provide such services/benefits at a lower rate. ... A car is a must, unless you have arranged a driver. This is not a negative comment, just one to help others. It is a bit of a walk to San Gigniano - not 'across the street.' ... A beautiful Tuscany respite.

We stayed in 8 Bed and Brewakfasts during a 19 day Italian visit. Ponte a Nappo FarmHouse was, by far, the best place we stayed.

Very warm, friendly and professional. We felt right at home. ... The best Tuscany experience of our trip. The serenity of the countryside in first-class accommodation, surrounded by vegetation and a stone's throw from the hilltop town. Don't miss it.

The property is about a kilometer from the center of the city. The proprietor will come to the city center to meet you and direct you to the property, but the city can be crowded, and parking may be a problem. You need to have access to a telephone to reach the proprietor. ... These are very friendly people. They operate a winery. The son of the proprietor speaks good English. The parents speak only Italian, but are very nice and will try to converse with you if you wish. Otherwise, very quiet and peaceful location, pretty farm views, and close to the city. It has air conditioning, but there is an extra charge, which is worth it in summer. There is a nice outdoor courtyard, but be prepared for mosquitoes if you use it. ... It is not a hotel; more like a cottage or apartment. It is located next to a vineyard. It is quiet, and only a kilometer from San Gemminano. Our accommodations had living area, kitchen (with dining table), bedroom and bathroom downstairs, and a large loft with double bed and bathroom upstairs. There are pots and pans and cooking utensils if you wish to cook.

We didn't need directions as we had Garmin guiding the way perfectly well. ... Keep in mind, this was a home converted to a B&B. Each room has their own bathroom, but these are NOT hotel-like rooms in the aspect of 'quietness.' It's more like being in your bedroom and you have to reduce the noise by 11pm or you'll disturb the other guests. But, it was an EXCELLENT place and we'd stay there again and again. ... We had to check out at 5:00am, so we closed out our bill w/o any issues the day prior. ... Fantastic views from a fantastic view in and of itself.
