Facilities within the Estate

 

The garden: Particular care has been taken with the grounds. Around the estate there is an ample garden surrounded by a wooden fence. In this way privacy is guaranteed.
 

Swimming pool: in the garden there is a panoramic terrace which overlooks the valley with the beautiful swimming pool equipped with dackchairs, sun-beds and beach-umbrellas.

The farm faces south-west and the weather is fresh and sunny in summer and mild in winter, making the estate an ideal holiday choice in any season.

Arezzo: In a world of its own, the farm is, surprisingly, only 5 km from Arezzo. This is a magnificent city of ancient Etruscan origin and birthplace to many illustrious artists such as Vasari, Petrach, Michelangelo and Masaccio. There are many interesting museums and churches, such as the splendid Santa Maria della Pieve (12th century). It is possible to admire works of art such as "The Crucifix of Cimabue" at San Domenico church (13th century), the Renaissance portico of S. Maria delle Gazie (15th century) and of course, the world renowned masterpieces of Piero della Francesca: its frescos depicting "The Legend of the True Cross (15th century) in the Basilica of San Francesco. Arezzo is situated in the south-east of Tuscany at the meeting of four beautiful valleys: Valdichiana, Valtiberina, Casentino and Valdarno. Thanks to its strategic position, the most beautiful cities in central Italy are easily reached, as for example Florence, Siena and Perugia. There are also many pretty historical towns, such as the splendid Cortona (of Etruscan origin), Monte San Savino and Lucignano; San Sepolcro and Anghiari; Pienza Assisi, Gubbio, all at about an hour's drive. Among the many drives that will help you to discover the infinite faces of our lands, don't miss the "Wine Routes"a unique opportunity to taste local gastronomical specialities and wines.
