The manager was very helpful. Was giving us tips what to see and how to get there. The breakfast was also good!

The manager gave me a good trusty feeling. I could not pay with my creditcard. This was not so good. I would prefer it to know this in advance.

old style farmhouse, ideal place to relax and unwind. central to all of tuscany. have dinner there cause its inexpensive and very good food. leave yourself time to relax by the large pool which has views to san gimignano. easy drive into florence. not for those wanting 5 star.

Alex runs a very friendly accommodation, with meals he makes himself. The daily routine of breakfast, sightseeing, swimming in the nice pool, and relaxing with other travelers and Alex's family at the open-air table, while eating delicious meals representative of the area, and with beautiful views, all made for a wonderful experience.

There is a new room, No. 9, in which we stayed, but which is not yet on the website. It is roomy and peaceful.

Worthwhile. It is a good home base while in Tuscany.

The appartments are dark and foggy, 'smelly' and have no equipment at al (glasses, plates etc)

The rooms were 'rustic' but comfortable. I felt that they were not worth the price being asked. We stayed 2 weeks and only had the same towels and linen that was there when we arrived. Maybe we should have asked for clean.
Conversely, the evening meal we ate with our hosts was always excellent and Alex was extremely entertaining. Very nice and helpful people. Excellent value with the evening meal: this exceeded our expectations.

Rustic but comfortable. Nice pool and lovely setting. Excellent location. Evening meals good, breakfasts typical Italian. Hosts very kind and relaxed: interesting people. Great pets: 2 dog, 2 cats and a bird.
