By Car:
Upon exiting the A1 toll highway (direction for Bologna) at Calenzano-Sesto Fiorentino, to the roundabout turn right, the Carrefour shopping center is on your right, continue on past two more roundabouts, and turn on the right on Via Puccini for Calenzano downtown, follow this street to the end where you are forced to turn right, then turn left at the corner and straight.The street becomes Via del Saccardo, follow it up then turn right at the end. Keep going straight this becomes Via delle Vigne. After about 300 meters turn left where you see the green sign with "Poggio alla Pieve": This road surrounded by cypress trees will take you up the hill to the end of the road where you arrive. On the street you will be assisted by many signs of Poggio alla Pieve. |
