We were also shown the entire property upon arrival, the swimming pool, restaurant, etc. Very helpful.

Perhaps a tea pot should be added to the otherwise excellent kitchen supplies. And I would add a sturdy pot scrubber or brillo as well.

Roberto was particularly helpful in our trying to reconfirm our flights, and gave us--as I am sure is done for all guests--a souvenir bottle of the wine of Poggiarello.

An evening meal is available on request (currently 23 euros per person). This was of exceptional quality and consisted of 5 courses. Extensive wine list.

Peaceful and relaxing, in a rural location. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Ideal location for visiting Chianti region, Florence and Sienna. We did not want to come home!

Quite a drive from a main road, but it was very well signed and worth it.

The directions were unclear at the part about the stop sign. If you could tell the guests to turn right at the bar that would help.

We loved that it was family owned and run. The family was very nice, helpful and polite. We had a wonderful time and would recommend the farm house to our friends.

This is a beautiful and quaint family operated farm house in the middle of the fabulous Tuscan country-side. The location was good--in between Florence, Sienna and Pisa. The cuisine was wonderful and the family made us feel very welcome.

It would have been helpful to have a description on the map of how to get there as we weren't really sure we were going the right way until we saw the signs.

The place was really very beautiful. The dinner was great and so was the wine. Roberto was very helpful and we would be back there if we ever have the opportunity.

Until we got there, I wasn't really aware of how secluded it was. It was an apartment we stayed in, so I would recommend that the website tell people that any shopping for beverages, snacks, etc. be done on the way in to Il Poggiarello, as once you arrive, you won't want to drive back out to shop.

If you want an authentic taste of the Tuscan countryside, this is the place to stay. It is beautiful!

The dirt road was a little confusing and rather difficult driving but once we arrived the welcome was great.

The room was a little bit basic but the setting was lovelier than expected and the food was wonderful. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning and it was very hot inside in the evenings.
