Despite some showery weather it was a wonderful stay. Christian and Julia were gracious hosts, providing samples of their olive oil and wine. We celebrated our 29th anniversary there and were treated with a bottle of their finest wine.

The farmhouse is very convenient. It is near a major secondary road, a supermarket and a great Pizza and pasta restaurant for take out. It is centrally located for all of the sights in Tuscany

Both hosts welcomed us warmly with coffee, wine and grappa before introducing us to the property and taking us through the paperwork.

Fantastic location and wonderful hosts. Very good recommendations for food and visits to other localities in the region. Also fantastic wine, vin santo, grappa and olive oil from the property. We have already recommended the venue to many others.

1. Slightly more detail in road directions (Italian road signs are a bit inconsistent!). Use of Google maps would be useful.
2. Local osterias should be listed as there are a few that are wonderful.
3. References to the town of Certaldo (only 10 minutes away) - which is amazing.

our arrival experience was excellent as our flight was delayed and we didnt arrive at la poggierella until 2am and Cristiano directed us over the mobile phone which was very helpful as it would have been difficult to find in the dark and when we arrived Cristiano and Guila were waiting at the gate to welcome us Very nice'

Cristiano and Guila were very friendly and went out of there way to help and assist us and we would definetly return to stay with them

very good ,staff very friendly and helpful,room nice,could perhaps have more outdoor spaces to sit and socialise with others as apartments dont have terraces or balconys as all but one apartment is on the first floor

Everything went on very smoothly. Our group arrived in 3 parts: with two taxis and one car. Christiano and Julia were most wellcoming for each group.
I did not arrive by car but I understood that there was some minor problems in the directions. The driver got lost between Castelfiorentino and Castelnuovo D'Elsa. However, the problem was solved easily.
I would also like to give a very postive feed-back for the quick answers I got every time I sent an e-mail to La Poggiarella.

Our group was extremely satisfied! Christiano and Julia were very helpful and polite. They solved all our problems and also helped us in many ways: reserved tables in restaurants, organized a guide for us to the nearest church which was not in use at the moment, bought us fresh bread and meat, and helped us to rent bikes. They let us walk in the wineyards and told us about the history of the place. I could not image a better place for us!

We left quite early in the morning and it was possible to check out already in the evening. We found that very good.

If I were you I would mention the ancient pilgrim route (the Fancigena Route) which goes very near La Poggiarella. That might interest people. I also would point out more clearly the good train connections from Castelfiorentino to the main cities.

A most beautiful and peaceful place in the middle of vineyards. A very good place for relaxation, visiting interesting places in Tuscany, and physical exercise (trecking, swimming, walking, cycling). Clean and comfortable apartments and very friendly staff.

The direcations should be clearer. It is necessary to add more possibilities of arrival (alternative routes) for those who arrive from different roads/villages.

Lovely to stay somewhere in 'true' Tuscany. Amazing view every morning. Fully adequate apartment. Very helpful staff. Would defintly stay again in the future.
