Coming from Milano - Bologna - Firenze:
Leave the motorway A1 (autostrada del Sole Milan-Rome) at the exit Firenze Certosa. After the toll pay-station take the speedway (superstrada Firenze-Siena) in direction of Siena. After 41 km take the second exit for Colle Val d'Elsa, signed Colle Val d'Elsa sud. Turn right till you come to a roundabout, drive half of the circle and continue in direction Grosseto. Keep driving on this road. You will pass other 2 roundabouts and after 3,5 km, at the end of this road, turn left (you are now on the SP 541) and continue in direction of Grosseto. After 500 meters, still following Grosseto, to your right you will pass over a bridge. Continue on the main road SP 541 in direction Grosseto. Please let unobserved the signposts indicating Sovicille (it is the matter of alternative itineraries). After a further 16 km you will reach the residence Borgo Il Poggiaccio (it is on the right of the main road in a slightly elevated position). Enter from the second gate which will lead you to the reception. (The first gate is to enter to the restaurant).
Coming from Sienna:
Leave Sienna from the Porta S. Marco exit and take the speedway (SS 223) in the direction of Grosseto. After 13,5 km, leave the speedway at the exit Orgia and Rosia. After approximately 6 km, you come to Rosia and to a stop sign at a junction. At this junction turn left and follow the signs for Casole d'Elsa and Borgo Il Poggiaccio for 4,5 km until you come to another junction (there is a column known as Colonna di Montarrenti). Turn right, signed for Colle Val d'Elsa and keep following the signs for Borgo Il Poggiaccio Residence. After approx. 5 km you will reach the Residence Borgo Il Poggiaccio (on your left, on a bend after a straight line).
Coming from Rome:
Take the highway Autostrada del Sole A1 in direction Firenze (Florence). After about 147 km take the exit for Bettolle and continue in direction of Siena. After about 50 km take the Tangenziale (tangential road) of Siena and follow the speedway (SS 223) in direction Grosseto. After 13,5 km leave at the exit for Orgia and Rosia. After approximately 6 km you come to Rosia and to a stop sign at a junction. At this junction turn left and follow the signs for Casole d'Elsa and Borgo Il Poggiaccio for 4,5 km until you come to another junction (there is a column known as Colonna di Montarrenti).
