By Car: Exit at Firenze Scandicci on the Autostrada Milano-Roma A1, after 100 mt turn right and take the SGC/FI-PI-LI in the direction of Pisa-Livorno. Arrived at Ginestra Fiorentina (it's the second exit that you will find) exit and turn to the right in the direction for Montespertoli. After 1 Km you will find a crossroads with a pharmacy in the corner, at this crossroads turn right always in the direction towards Montespertoli. After 5 Km you will arrive in Baccaiano, turn left (uphill) and after 3 Km you will find the sign of Montagnana, turn to the left, 100 m after the sign (via Montegufoni). After 1 Km drive between two lion statues and at the end of a descent there is a castle, drive along to the right until you arrive to a church. Take the road that is between the church and the cypress-tree. At the end of this road you will find Il Poggetto.
By Train:
A few meters away from the central train station in Florence (Santa Maria Novella) you find the SITA Buses. You should take the bus that passes for Montagnana and get off at the stop of Montegufoni, from there it's a walk of 200 mt towards the village where you will find Il Poggetto. |
