Podere Santa Maria is a beautifully restored farmhouse for 10 persons, located in a magnificent part of Tuscany, between Pienza and San Quirico (5 km from each town). The property is located in the middle of a nature reserve full of pheasants, deer, hares, owls and other wildlife. At 20 km there are the towns of the Mount Amiata. |

By Car: From the North - Highway A1 - exit at "Firenze Certosa", after the toll turn right - this is the "Firenze-Siena" motorway - exit at "Siena Sud" and than follow directions for "Buonconvento/Montalcino" SS2 Cassia and for Rome. Stay on the SS2 - passing the towns of "Buonconvento", "San Quirico D’Orcia", "Bagni Vignoni". After 2 km you will arrive to a big property which is the “ Consorsio Agrario di Siena” - on the right, (you will see some large silos), there is a white road - take the next right hand turn after this on the crest of the road. You will notice on the left side of the road a small white signs indicating the kilometres, you have to turn at Km 175 (km VIII). After 1 km on your left you will find Podere Santa Maria, it is a yellow house with a brick garage and swimming pool lined with cyprus trees.
By Train: the nearest railway station to the property is "Buonconvento".
By Air: Peretola Airport in Florence is at 60 km and Galileo Galilei Airport in Pisa is at 55 km from the Podere Santa Maria. |
