  • At what time can we check-in and out?
    Check in: from 3 until 9 pm.
    Check out: before midday. Please let us know in advance what time you intend to check in.
  • Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
    The price is per apartment.
  • Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
    The apartment is self catering, but the kitchen is stocked with all the basic ingredients for a continental breakfast.
  • Is heating included in the price?
    Heating is included in the price.
  • Can we settle the bill on arrival?
    You can settle the bill on your arrival or at the end of your stay.
  • Which languages are spoken at the reception?
    English, German and a little French.
  • How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
    There are two floors and no elevators.
  • Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
    The rooms are very private, cosy and relaxing.
  • Are linens and towels provided or do I need to bring my own?
    Linens and towels are provided and changed once a week or more often if needed.
  • Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
    The apartment has a lodge, a terrace and a spacious garden.
  • Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
    The apartment has a large terrace.
  • Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
    The apartment is non smoking. Smoking is allowed only outside.
  • Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite or cable TV)?
    In the living room there is a TV with satellite. CNN, Skynews, Eurosport, and many German channels.
  • Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
    Guests can use the phone of the owner when needed.
  • Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
    No air conditioning system. The rooms are very ventilated in the summer.
  • Is there a dining room where we could sometimes all dine together?
    There is a dining\living room with fireplace for the winter and a beautiful terrace with a large table for eating outside in the summer.
  • Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
    Guests can use Internet upon request in the office of the owner.
  • Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
    There is a new and beautiful swimming pool (12x6x1.60)with a solarium, a lawn and a terrific view!
  • Is parking or garage available?
    Parking is available all around the property.
  • Where can we rent a car?
    At the airport of Florence, or of Pisa. In the city of Florence.
  • Are there grocery stores or supermarkets in the surroundings?
    In the town of San Casciano (6 km from Podere La Villa) there are all kinds of facilities, shops and grocery stores including a supermarket "Coop". There are very cute and typical shops where you can find all Tuscan gastronomic specialities and wines.
  • Are there vineyards nearby?
    All around the property you can see vineyards and olive groves. You can also have very beautiful walks in the vineyards.
  • How far is Florence, Siena, Pisa from the Property?
    Firenze is 30 minutes far by car. Siena 45 minutes, Pisa 1 hour.
  • Which is the nearest village or town?
    San Casciano Val di Pesa is the nearest town.
  • Which is the nearest airport?
    The nearest airport is in Florence.
  • Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
    Guests can use the shuttle service to the central Sita Bus station from the airport to Florence and viceversa.
  • Which is the nearest bus-stop?
    The nearest bus stop is in San Casciano, 6 km distance from Podere La Villa
  • Which is the nearest railway station?
    The nearest railway station is in Florence.
  • Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
    Upon request we can provide relaxing massages.
  • Are pets welcome?
    Upon request.
  • Is there a restaurant in the Property?
    Once a week and upon request the owner can arrange special and typical dinners accompanied by great Italian wines, prepared by a local cook. Guests are welcome to assist and help in the preparation of the dinner!
  • Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
    You can connect your modem from the owner's office.
