By Car:
From Milan/Bologna: Autostrada del Sole (A1) going south Exit Firenze Sud, follow signs for Pontassieve taking the S.S. 70 towards Passo della Consuma towards Poppi arriving at Ponte a Poppi. From the main square of Ponte a Poppi (Piazza Garibaldi) continue driving towards Poppi crossing the bridge over the River Arno. From here you will see the signs for La Casaccia Agritourism.
From Rome: Autostrada del Sole (A1) going north Exit Arezzo follow the Arno Valley taking the S.S. 71 (Umbro-Casentinese) towards Poppi. From Poppi follow the signs for La Casaccia as above.
From Cesena Nord: Take the E45 in the direction of Rome, get off at Bagno di Romagna, cross the valley of Mandrioli going towards Poppi.
From Mugello: Take the S.S.556 passing through Londa towards Poppi.
From Valdarno/Montevarchi: Take the Passo della Crocina towards Poppi.
From Valtiberina/Arezzo /Sansepolcro: Take the S.S. 208 towards Chiusi della Verna, crossing the Passo dello Spino (exit Pieve S. Stefanoof E45) toward Poppi.
By Train: From Rome to Arezzo, change for train to Casentino, get off at Poppi. From Milan or Florence, get off at Arezzo, change for train to Casentino, get off at Poppi.
By Bus: From Florence: SITA bus that leaves from bus station behind the main train station. Catch the line which goes to Bibbiena. Get off at Ponte a Poppi. |
