Podere Castellare is located just 5 minutes walking from the small village of Diacceto. Set on the top of a hill, overlooking the whole surrounding countryside, it is just 23 km away from Florence. All the other famous towns and areas of Tuscany such as Siena, Pisa, Maremma area, can be reached within one hour and a half by car.

How To Reach Us
 
Arriving from the north - A1 Highway:
Arrive at Firenze Nord and proceed towards Roma and leave the highway at the exit FIRENZE SUD and after about 500 metres turn right for Bagno a Ripoli and follow indications to Pontassieve. Arrived in Pontassieve, at the roundabout keep the right and drive towards Consuma. At the end of the viaduct turn right and proceed for Consuma and after about 100 metres turn on the left for Consuma-Bibbiena-Poppi-Pelago. After approximately 4 km you will reach the village Diacceto. Go straight on and immediately after Diacceto turn right for Ferrano. After about 500 metres you will find on the right two cypresses and the entrance for Podere Castellare.

Coming from Rome - A1 Highway:
take the "Autostrada del Sole A1" and leave the highway at exit "Firenze Sud". From here follow the direction above * "Arriving from the north".

Coming from Pisa airport:
Drive towards Florence along the dual carriageway FI-PI-LI until you reach the junction with the highway Autostrada del Sole A1 (E 35). Take the A1 in the direction Roma and leave it shortly afterwards at the exit "Firenze Sud". From here follow the direction above * "Arriving from the north".

Coming from Florence airport:
Exit the airport and follow the green motorway signs. Enter the highway at "Firenze Nord" following the direction Roma. Leave the motorway at the exit "Firenze Sud". From here follow the direction above * "Arriving from the north".
