 Situated in the splendid Tuscany hills, 20 minutes from Florence, Podere Castellare is located in the Chianti region. The property extends over 35 hectares of beautiful olive groves, vineyards and mixed woodland. The building was constructed in the early '800 on the site of a castle or fortified building as testified by the base of the external walls of the farmhouse and villa, the name "Castellare" is also credible due to the prominent position occupied by the house. |
 The pursuance of a supportable and eco-compatible development, a primary objective also for the activities of planning and architectonic relations, calls to develop a more respectful and prudent acquaintance and an ecological knowledge. The architecture and building as project disciplines influence both the habitat and the life of man, touching the level of well-being and the quality of life. |
 The necessity of having to consider more than one subject and more than one problem presupposes an able intersectional opening capable of collecting input of different disciplines including geology, chemistry and psychology. The necessity of the rational and optimal use of the resources and energy, an accurate study of materials and their use, an analysis of construction methods and a greater care in the choice of technologies must be taken into account. |
 All this has been faced during the restructure and the predisposition of space of the Podere Castellare, with ad hoc participation regarding:
