Situated in the territory of Manciano, Saturnia and Montemerano, the "Podere Santa Croce is a few kilometres far from the "Colline del Tufo". A short distance away there are the impressive medieval fortress villages of Pitigliano, Sovana and Sorano as well as the very famous archaeological "Parco" among the Etruscan tombs, and the "Vie Cave" with its medieval fortress. |

From Milan: Milano-Bologna-Firenze motorway. Take the exit for Firenze Certosa and then follow the traffic signs in the direction of Siena-Grosseto-Scansano-Montemerano, you'll find us at only one km after Montemerano in direction of Saturnia. About 440 km, five hours and half by car.
From Florence: about 200 km, two hours and half by car.
From Rome: Roma-Civitavecchia motorway. Follow Via Aurelia (S.S. n°1), at the Km 111 after Montalto di Castro turn on the right at the crossroads and leave the Aurelia highway following the traffic sign to Vulci. After about 12 Km turn on the left at the crossroads and go on towards Manciano (or Terme di Saturnia). After about 20 km at the crossroads turn on the left and follow the traffic sign in the direction of Manciano, Montemerano, Saturnia.
From Siena: Siena-Grosseto highway. Leave the highway before the exit for Grosseto and follow the traffic sign to Roselle; from Roselle town follow the traffic sign towards Scansano (or Terme di Saturnia). When you are in Scansano follow the traffic sign to Montemerano and Saturnia.
From Livorno: follow the Via Aurelia (S.S. n°1) and take the exit for Grosseto-Scansano. From there follow the traffic sign towards Scansano (or Terme di Saturnia). From Scansano go on following the traffic sign to Montemerano and Saturnia. |
