| | | The Farmhome Piombaia is located in the heart of the Val d'Orcia in Montalcino, among the typical Tuscan hills, the artistic itineraries of Sant Antimo Abbey, the historic and urban ones of Montalcino, and the naturalistic ones of Monte Amiata and the thermal baths of Bagno Vignoni. The Farmhome is located in the heart of the production area of the famous Brunello wine, in the south-east side of the Montalcino hill, the ideal climatic and geologic place . The grapes and other products are taken care of by the owners themselves according to old traditional farming techniques together with modern innovations without altering the quality of the result but improving it. The property features seven independent apartments. Guests are also offered some services in common: a swimming pool, a traditional barbecue and a rustic wood oven as well as a parking reserved for cars; moreover, excursions on foot and by bicycle (to hire) are supplied. For the countryside lovers there is the possibility to participate in the agricultural activities of the farm. Inside the farmhome you can taste the farm's products and the typical local dishes.
