 It is in fact in the located nearby Alpi Apuane that Michelangelo went and chose the best marbles for his masterpieces. Arts and crafts in this town mix together and can be breathed in every street, in the studios of artisans as well as in the ateliers of the artists and in the numerous galleries or cultural centers. Pietrasanta is very close to a number of beaches and to the the mountains, too and thanks to its special position, it is the ideal spot for a holiday for those who like to spend their Summer on the sea but also indulge in cultural activities. |
