even though the web site photos were very good, you have to see it in person to appreciate. the rooms were so spacious and luxurious - we even stayed in one that we saw on the web site.
the receptionist was beyond friendly and helpful, and we were treated like royalty by everyone there.

Haley, Bianca and Regina graciously checked us in and met every question we had with warmth and knowledge of the area. Prior to my arrival I was attempting to get concert tickets for a venue in Cortona, via many emails and phone calls to the above employees it all worked out beautifully. They were offered expectional assistance at every turn.

Everything about this location/hotel was exceptional. The property is warm, welcoming and beyond beautiful in all aspects. The staff was very personable, attentive and helpful. The only regret I have is that I cannot keep this hotel a secret from the world for my own private escape. I do want them to be successful, and therefore my review can only state glowing comments. All the employees attended to every need with a comfortable ease.

When I go back I may take you with me....peaceful, relaxing, private, safe, secure in one of the most beautiful locations in the world with a beautiful view of Cortona.

An overwhelming feeling that we were entering a friendly hotel with a great deal of personal commitment from staff and owners to make sure that our stay lived up to our expectations. It certainly did.

Not really - perhaps the relaxed elegance. The building is beautiful but it might be possible in advance of arriving that this might be a bit too formal. Its not.
Wonderful location.
Negative (but not for us) is that evening meals really dont feature and if you asked for dinner it would probably be perfect but you might be the only guests dining and it doesnt feel like they encourage people to have dinner.

only one comment- they needed to have more ice- run out of ice for the drinks very quickly
exceptionally helpful staff- assisted with booking restaurants- (and helped out after we had crashed our mini bus into the ditch!)
We had a wedding meal and the food was amazing and the table setting was beautiful

Amazing hotel - quite expensive but you get what you pay for! the food is fantastic and the setting makes it truly a wonderful place to stay- I will definately be returning

It was a beautiful property and would be a great place to spend the week. You could easily tour to wonderful places while based at this villa. The people were helpful calling to the airport for us looking for our lost baggage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
