Many historical, folkloristic and cultural events are held near Lucignano during the year, such as La Maggiolata in Lucignano, the Calendimaggio in Perugia and Assisi, La Giostra del Saracino ad Arezzo, Il Palio in Siena, the Calcio Storico in Firenze, the Festa delle Torri in Monteriggioni, the Quintana in Foligno and the important Mostra dell' Antiquariato in Cortona and the Mercato dell'Antiquariato in Arezzo at the end of each month.
