Viareggio is the best known beach in Tuscany and cities such as Pisa, Lucca, Florence and other historic and artistic towns are easily reached. You can come to Viareggio by public transport or trains. |

By Train:
Viareggio railway station is located at 25 minutes walk from the Residence Il Patriarca. Arriving it is probably easiest to take a taxi from the train station.
By Air:
The nearest airport is Galileo Galilei in Pisa; it is located at about 20 km from the property and it is easily reachable by train or by bus.
By Car:
From Florence take the Highway A11 until Lucca. Exit and join the motorway 76, driving in the direction of Versilia. Exit at Viareggio then follow the directions below to arrive at the Residences.
From Rome take the motorway A1 until "Firenze Ovest", than follow the signs for Viareggio.
From Milan take the A1 Highway until Parma and from there go toward S. Stefano Magra through the Parma-La Spezia Motorway. From S. Stefano Magra taking the Genova-Livorno A11 in the direction of Livorno then exit at Viareggio.
From Viareggio, follow the signs for "Lungomare" or seaside avenue. Once you get to promenade you should go straight ahead for about 1.5km, with the sea on your right. You will arrive at the Piazza Puccini - a square with a fountain and some gardens. On the next corner will find Via Colombo. |
