Especially we liked the restaurant and the food shop that made this place valuable. The whole property (including the restaurant and the shop) seemed also very popular among Italians so that we felt it is not a typical tourist destination but something real and very Italian. The noise of the tractors and the voices of the busy employees create an atmosphere of a real working farm and makes this place attractive. Their produced wines, fruits, dairy products etc. are with high quality and we enjoined really everything. The only thing I feel sorry is the level of foreign language knowledge of the employees (but this problem exists everywhere in Italy) - it would have been great to get more information either in English or French about the history and activities of the property and details of the food products they sell. ... It is an interesting and a very Italian place.

It was the first day in Italy and the setting was ideal ... Beautiful setting in the country with gracious hosts ... Perfect place for a quiet pace in the country. It's a fully operational fattoria with top notch products, that are valued throughout Italy

The property itself was beautiful and our roon was very nice. Our only disappointment was with the lack of service/assistance from the staff. We had expected organized tours of the grounds, winetasting, etc., but upon checkin the staff mentioned none of this and no printed literature about what was available. We found out by chance that another group took a cooking class and had a tutored wine tasting. When we asked about a wine tasting we were told there was no one there that day to hold it. They could have done a much better job letting guests know what was available to them, how to make arrangements, etc. We were very disappointed in that respect. They basically handed us our key and that was it. ... Better driving directions from Florence ... Beautiful and peaceful but you're on your own in terms of figuring out what kinds of activities are available.
