 Pantanino is a romantic 19th century villa with private pool and stunning views. Spectacular is the location of Pantanino, only 5 km from Siena, surrounded by olive groves, cypress trees and a couple of other famous villas in the distance, with breathtaking views onto the skyline of Siena, the highest tower being the Torre del Mangia which rises from the Piazza del Campo, the piazza where the Palio takes it's yearly turn. Pantanino is a charming three floored villa (490mē). What makes this villa unique is the gentle spirit of time passed which casts serenity over this property, an atmosphere which the owners knowledgeably rescued when thoroughly refurbishing the house in 2002. |
 The formal garden is situated to the west of the main house. The rest of the garden is planned as a large lawn delimited by lemon trees in beautiful old terracotta pots. In front of the dining room a terrace for al fresco meals is equipped with table and chairs. Rambling roses and old holm oaks give the garden colour and depth. The house is surrounded by its own land, most of which is olive groves with approximately a 1000 olive trees. |
 The property is situated 5 km south-west of Siena. To reach the house from Siena you take a quiet road that also leads to the well-known Castle of Belcaro. Take a turning off this road to Pantanino and you will enter the property through large gates that lead into the garden and up to the house. |
