 "Palazzo Al Torrione" is situated along the perimetrical wall of San Gimignano, in Via Berignano a parallel of Via San Giovanni, which is the main street of the city, in the heart of the historic center. From one side it looks onto the town, seeming almost as if one could reach out and touch its towers, from the other the eye wanders over the soft landscape which nature endowed to the surroundings of San Gimignano. We are in the center of Val d'Elsa, 50 km away from Florence and 30 km from Siena. Close to us are Colle di Val d'Elsa, Volterra, Castellina in Chianti, Greve in Chianti, Certaldo and many other sites, rich in art and history, the ideal for fascinating and pleasant excursions.

By Car from Florence:
from A1 exit Firenze Certosa - take the Firenze-Siena freeway and exit at Poggibonsi, after 10 km you will reach San Gimignano.
By car from Siena: Take the toll free motorway to Florence. Pay attention to take the "Poggibonsi" juction which is 27 Km from Siena. Then follow the blue signs to San Gimignano.
By car from Pisa: Follow signs for Florence and take the toll free motorway signed "FI-PI-LI". Continue towards Florence and exit at "Ponte a Elsa". Here take the S248 road to "Certaldo" and then follow the signs for San Gimignano which is 12 km away.
To park your car, use one of the car parks along the city wall (the closest to us is the N. 1). On arrival, we will give you a parking card which entitles our guests a discount. |
