 Staggia is an old village between Siena and Florence, it is a perfect example of a preserved fortress-hamlet, with its original walls dating back to1372 two large historical cylinder towers and a square tower in the center. Staggia is ideally located for quick excursions to Siena, Florence, S.Gimignano, Volterra and the other hamlets of the Chianti region. In some metres you can find a restaurant, a supermarket and a bank. In the area it is possible to hire cars, or to ride a bicycle, to play tennis or golf and fish. |
