I misunderstood the information I was given, I was to phone once I got to Sansepolco and I would be picked up so I phoned from Arezzo and as I do not have a lot of Italian I could not understand. I got to Sansepolico and managed to get a lift to the Villa ok. The owner and staff were just wonderful and as I had not eaten the made me a meal on arrival.

I spent 9 weeks traveling around Italy and I visited many lovely places, with a week in Florance, but I wished I made Relais Palazzo di Luglio one of the first places I stayed as I would have stayed longer. It was wonderful to me it was the real Italy which was what I wanted to experience. The owner, his wife and staff were wonderful so friendly and kind that I hope to return as soon as I can.

The owner was kind enough to drive me to and pick me up from the town when I wanted to go. He also drove me to the bus in plenty of time, he also did not charge me for the meal he gave me and also the wine I had. I felt it was great value.

The web site was great and thats why I booked it.I guess you could add a few more things about Sansepolco as I found it a lovely place to visit and the food was great. The walks around the Villa were wonderful and in the early morning and late afternoon there are deer in the grounds, just wonderful.

A taste of the real Italy, some were you will want to return to ,lovely room, friendly people, great value, a place you will not want to leave as I did not want to leave.
