Even though the Palazzi del Papa farmhouse stands in the heart of Val d'Orcia, it is easily reachable from the Autostrada del Sole (del Sole highway). In the nearby area one can visit and enjoy the Terme di Bagno Vignoni and the Terme di San Filippo (where you can have a relaxing SPA day), the village of Pienza where you can taste the well-known Pecorino, Montepulciano with its delicious wine, San Quirico d'Orcia and the original ancient "borgo" and Chianciano Terme. |

From South
From the main motorway A1 exit at Chiusi - Chianciano Terme and take the direction to Pienza Village and San Quirico d' Orcia on the road SS 146. Pass through Pienza and follow the direction to Gallina, follow left direction Contignano and you will find on your left the Agriturismo Palazzi del Papa.
From North
From the motorway A1 exit at Firenze Certosa and take the free "Firenze -Siena" motorway to Siena. Exit at "Siena Sud" and follow in the direction of Buonconvento on SS Cassia road. From there follow the above instruction and you will arrive at our beautiful farmhouse. |
