1. Indications to arrive there were given at the site, but still we had some difficulties. A little bit more clear!
2. there was nobody at the gates, but a telephone number was provided. But we had no cell phone! anyway, all was solved.
3. reeptionist was all OK.
4. number of rooms (5) was OK, but instead of twin beds in two rooms we got double beds; but this was solved, with extra beds.

View from the house is marvelous (hills, vineyards). San Gimignano is within walking distance (1 km), you go uphill, return downhill.
I suggest to put in the house a small number of kitchen utilities (plates, knifes, wine glasses), to make possible to have an happy hour enjoying the landscape.

We had four splendid days at a villa in Tuscan countryside. Marvelous landscape, quiet place, swimming pool, pleasant outdoors breakfast. Ample parking space. Excellent, cheap wines from Il Palagetto winery. San Gimignano within walking distance (20 minutes) frees you from parking problems, even if there are some parking facilities at the village. I would definitely return to stay longer.

One small thing... Arrived to a locked gate. We were unsure if we had arrived a correct entrance / building. Honked horn ... no immediate answer .. proceeded to other (lower) gate ... honked again. Returned to first gate and rang web contack number. Only then did we make contact and gain addmittance. ps a welcome note at gate to explain to guests what to do / how to get in. Nice welcome when we got in.

We had a very enjoyable and relaxing time at Il Palagetto. Ideal location for touring around (e.g. Volterra, Sienna and Florence) and for returning for late evenings in San Gimignano (lots of pagentry in June and July). Room finished to a very homely and high standard. Everything modern, clean and in perfect working order. Pool and hillside location idilic. Really enjoyed it.

Beautiful location, idilic tuacan courntryside, quiet, private, safe, lovely pool, convenient to san giminano and good touring location.

Two comments:
When we arrived we were under the impression that we could easily get a taxi to the farmhouse from San Gimignano. It was raining very heavily and there was no taxi in sight. After reaching Daniela at Il Palagetto she arranged for a taxi to pick us up. Turns out you have to call and make an arrangment. If we'd known that we would have asked for a taxi to be reserved to pick us up as soon as our bus was scheduled to arrive. But once we were at the farmhouse we were happy. If it hadn't been for the rain, it wouldn't have been too bad - we just aren't that lucky!
The second thing was that I didn't realize that there was no one who spoke English at the farmhouse. It wasn't too much of a trouble, but I would have liked to have known ahead of time so I could have learned a few more helpful phrases in italian.
Otherwise we had a lovely stay and were very happy with the apartment.

No laundromat nearby. Have enough cloths for your stay or wash in the sink - laundry detergent available at the nearby COOP.

It was in the most beautiful setting, very clean and comfortable, and a great value for the money. I would recommend it for anyone who wants a quiet retreat, the convenience of having your own kitchen, and close access to San Gimignano.

Nice and spacious accomodations, great breakfast buffet, and friendly service! Our only complaint was regarding the heating in the room. The radiators were only on for one night of our 3-night stay in the late fall.

I would have been useful to recommend approaching the property from the Fi-Si highway via Poggibonsi and some statement to the effect that negotiating the other roads on route maps takes a lot longer than one might expect...

The rooms did not have a hairdryer as specified in the website and the language barrier meant that one was not forthcoming throughout the stay.
Tea & coffee making facilities and a small fridge would have greatly improved the overall room facilities.
The quality of towels provided could be improved.

Beautiful setting, near to a gem on a Tuscan town. The locals were warm & welcoming. The accomodation was satisfactory but could have been highly recommended but for the comments made above

Our only negative was there were no clothes washing facilities on site. For long stay accomodation this is very handy feature to apartment style accomodation.

We had a lovely time, and we also stayed an extra night. The only thing is that we had requested a cot as we have a 2 year old child and was not available

this is a bit negative...it didnt happen to us but to a couple who were with us. They had unexpected visitors - mice

The place is beautiful but being in the middle of greenery u can have unexpected visitors!!!

We had a nice stay inIl Palagetto.
The flats were good and comfortable,san Gimignano in the right distance form you.
To stay there and not beeing dependent on eating in resturants howewer demands a better equipped kitchen. Making coffee,opening cans and wine bottles is nescesarry. The heat in flat no 7 was hard to get,this was no problem in the other two. Totally we had a very nice stay-and can recommend your place to friends and aquaintances !
