 In the marvellous San Gimignano setting not more than 1 km from the historical centre rises "Il Palagetto" farmhouse, consisting in a recently restored medieval Castle ("Il Palagetto Villa") and a homestead ("Il Palagetto GuestHouse"), which really offer guests an unique and relaxing holiday. |
 "Il Palagetto" is located in the Tuscan countryside, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves which produce an excellent Vernaccia white wine and an unequalled oil of olive. Inside the Castle guests can find Il Palagetto Villa, consisting of 7 apartments, all decorated and furnished in a countryside style in the full respect of the Tuscan environment. |
 Furthermore, there is another farmhouse belonging to the same proprietor and located 3 km from the historical centre of San Gimignano: Il Poggio. It is a former medieval military outpost dating back to the 11th century, currently restored and consisting of a fascinating cut-off tower. Nowadays it looks like a countryside homestead despite some details bringing back to its origins. |
 This is definitely a particular interesting place ideal for those tourists who love to be surrounded by an evocative and an unforgettable scenery. Of course Il Poggio is equipped with a modern swimming pool overlooking the picturesque towers of San Gimignano.  Adjoining the homestead there is a restored barn used as breakfast room. Last but not least, inside the property on the top of the hill, guests can find "La Casa della Magliaccia", fully plunged in the quietness and the green.
